Family Background
I belong to a very simple middle class family. My father is a private physician. I have two elder brothers both married. They are involved in medicin business. One eldest sister, she has got married.
Contribution to the field
Initially i got chance to work in two companies, Wipro BPO and STFC Ltd. In wipro I exprlored about handling customer sitting thousands of mile away from me. This experience I used in my second job in STFC Ltd. as Management Trainee. Currently I am in teaching profession and I love my Job.
Suggestions to aspirants
Marketting is field where there is no boundaries for growth and no defined pace of growth also. You just have to be ambitious to earn and you will fly. But in my suggestion you must be patient enough untill you get full speed.
Importance of Marketing
Being a marketting person I think I am most valuable asset of my organization because whatever my organization produces or offers is conveyed to the customer through me only. there are no other means.
Competitiveness
As i have already said there is no bar on how fast you can grow. This makes marketting different from other streams. But one more thing I would like to mention here is more profit means more risk.
Motivating
Mrketting job is not that easy so that everyone can pursue it. But yes if one wants to make his/her dreams come true soon he/she must opt for marketting. There are several examples proving marketting as Aladin's lamp.
Brief yourself
I am academically an Engineer. I have worked in call centers and in marketting also. Currently I am working as a senior lecturer in an Engineering College. Now when I look back to my career I do not find much difference between marketing and teaching. Both professions require convincing power.
