Bangalore: Digital media is soon about to see a spike in advertising undertaken by luxury brands. A recent survey conducted by Martini Media and Digiday covered three hundred and forty-five luxury goods marketers who were determined to invest more in digital marketing. The hike in investments in digital media by these brands can be attributed to attracting affluent prospects on the go. The report suggests that TV and glossy print magazines are sure to take a backseat as the charm and appeal of digital media is soon catching-up to markets around the globe.

The predicted spike in digital marketing investments comes as no surprise. About seventy four percent of the marketers believe that online videos and campaigns are more effective or at least equivalent to TV. The current scenario as of now estimates that luxury marketers spend 31% as compared to mass marketers who spend 37% of their budgets on Digital marketing; as published by dmnews.com.
