Social Media: Its Importance in a Business' Marketing-Mix Today

Bangalore: How much value do businesses today place on social media? A recent survey conducted by Adobe and Econsultancy showed  that sixty- seven percent of businesses  agree that social media is integral to their marketing mix, while sixty- six percent say social media is integral to their overall business strategy. The findings were published on cmo.com.



The research also showed how brands utilize social media on the internet. The survey , conducted on  six- hundred and fifty marketing professionals  found that  sixty-four percent of businesses use social media primarily  for brand awareness, while forty-four percent used the same for   marketing campaigns and about a minimal twenty-five percent  for customer service.
