Amazon has introduced Multi-Channel Fulfilment (MCF) in India, allowing various sellers, including direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands, manufacturers, and retailers, to enhance their fulfillment processes and improve customer experiences. This service enables sellers to utilize Amazon’s extensive presence, fulfillment centers, and logistics capabilities to manage customer orders from various sales channels, ensuring efficient fulfillment with speed and convenience.

MCF by Amazon aims to democratize customer order fulfillment, offering sellers in India the opportunity to expand their market reach by leveraging Amazon’s extensive coverage of serviceable pin codes, totaling over 20,000 pin codes. This move opens up new business prospects for sellers.

“This innovative fulfillment solution ensures super-fast delivery, 24×7 fulfillment of customer orders, and removes the need for inventory pooling for separate sales channels. Its seamless integration, advanced technology, best-in-class fulfillment, vast delivery coverage, advanced tracking, and comprehensive support enable sellers to thrive in the Indian market,” said Vivek Somareddy, Vice-President, Fulfilment Channels & Global Trade, Amazon India.

MCF simplifies the order creation process for sellers serving customers beyond the Amazon platform, providing order tracking and tax invoice generation while ensuring swift shipping and faster delivery. This streamlines fulfillment, improves the customer experience, and opens up opportunities for increased sales. The service also enables sellers to automate their off-Amazon orders, simplifying the entire fulfillment process.

Additionally, sellers can benefit from Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA), a versatile, cost-effective, and scalable storage and fulfillment solution that encompasses various services such as inbound transportation, labeling, storage, order management, pick-pack, and shipping services. FBA helps sellers streamline their operations and maximize efficiency.
