OpenAI Launches First Big Brand Campaign for ChatGPT

- OpenAI rolls out its first large scale brand campaign for ChatGPT
- Campaign showcases everyday uses of the AI tool
- Ads run across US, UK, and Ireland on TV, outdoor, and digital platforms
OpenAI has launched its first major brand campaign for ChatGPT, marking a new focus on long term marketing. Until now, the company mainly relied on big events, like its Super Bowl ad earlier this year, but this campaign highlights how people use ChatGPT in their daily lives.
Kate Rouch, OpenAI’s Chief Marketing Officer, said the campaign shows how ChatGPT helps people learn, create, and grow every day. With over 700 million weekly users worldwide, the campaign celebrates these users and aims to inspire others to explore how ChatGPT can assist them too.
The campaign will run across the United States, Britain, and Ireland, featuring outdoor billboards, television commercials, streaming services, and social media ads. The focus is on practical uses such as making workout plans or trying new recipes with ChatGPT’s help.
OpenAI’s in-house creative team produced the campaign, with some AI tools used behind the scenes, but the final work was created by humans. This push reflects OpenAI’s growing commitment to build a strong, ongoing brand presence.

Additionally, OpenAI appears to be preparing to expand its advertising efforts further. A recent job listing reveals the company is looking for a paid media marketing platform engineer to develop tools that will scale marketing efforts and optimize spending.
