Amazon India has appointed Priyanka Khaneja Gandhi as the new Head of Ads Marketing, signaling a strategic shift in the company's efforts to enhance its advertising ecosystem in the country. With over 20 years of experience in marketing, Gandhi will oversee marketing and creative solutions for Amazon India Ads.

Her appointment comes at a pivotal moment as Amazon intensifies its advertising initiatives in India, aiming to develop comprehensive marketing solutions for brands and sellers on its platform. Gandhi's extensive background in integrated marketing, digital transformation, e-commerce strategy, and media planning equips her to foster innovation in the competitive digital advertising arena.

Before joining Amazon, Gandhi held various senior leadership positions at Colgate-Palmolive, where she spent more than 16 years. Most recently, she served as the Director of Integrated Brand Experience, managing brand experience, digital transformation, media strategy, and e-commerce performance marketing across multiple categories.

Prior to her tenure at Colgate, Gandhi worked with prominent media agencies such as Madison Communications, Carat, and Starcom/Publicis Group, where she developed brand strategies and media plans for a diverse range of clients.

At Amazon, she will spearhead marketing initiatives aimed at helping brands maximize the potential of Amazon’s advertising ecosystem, which includes performance marketing, branded content, and creative solutions tailored to Indian consumers
