Born Ambitious
Typically, a fresh Engineering graduate initially gets very low salary offers and majority of the companies ask for experience. Shubham failed
to understand how a fresher can be experienced and if not, then how would one get a job. However, it was recession in the industry; but he was born ambitious. He had a different thought; even if he had got a job at that time, it would have not been more than Rs.20,000 a month, which was way below his expectation. Fortunately, Shubham had a very strong tech background in terms of ethical hacking and natural user interface and he delivered lectures on ethical hacking and NUI in more than 50+ institutes which include prominent institutes like IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur & NIT Surat as well. This helped him to earn more than Rs.50,000 a month. Shubham had confidence on his skills & knowledge and decided not to get hired but hire people who are specifically ‘not experienced’.

With a mindset – Freshers are Not Experienced but definitely they can Create New Experiences, he bootstrapped Atthah Info Media in 2011. He named the company Atthah (means infinite) with the clear vision of delivering anything & everything its clients can think of. Initially, like any other startup, Atthah also struggled to get client onboard. But his relentless efforts paid off once he proved himself when he got his very first client in 2013. Ever since, Atthah has been experiencing only the winds of fortune. What started with just a two-member team in 2011 has today grown into an astounding 60 people strong team with more than 200+ clients like Samsung, Coke, Uber, Eicher, National Council of Science Museum, L&T and a host of other brands, not to mention its rapidly-increasing revenue which has multiplied 200-fold since its inception.

When asked to share a case study, Shubham responds, “We feel proud saying – name a brand and I will tell you what we have successfully delivered to them. Some of our experiences have travelled overseas to cities like Dusseldorf, Hanover, Paris, New York & Tokyo, while others have become legends – like the Good Vibes project that won over 35+ global awards including A Cannes Lion!” Having cemented its place as a serious player in the industry by using technology as an enabler, Atthah helps its clients understand the importance of quality in any of the tech activation and not to degrade quality just because of budget. “If we take on a project, then quality can never be compromised at Atthah or else we simply deny to take on a project with kindness,” proclaims Shubham.

New Territories to Conquer
There are a lot of ways/technologies to produce the same output and Atthah has the capability & expertise to work on multiple platforms but a thorough tech evaluation is always performed before project initiation to deliver the most optimum product to the customer. “With the talent in the team, we can deliver nuclear bombs, but who needs another one is the question,” quips Shubham. Acknowledging that content is the backbone of any activation, Atthah has built a team of highly skilled resources who help it deliver the best possible experience to the market and facilitate the clients realize the difference between a generic vs quality product.

In future, Atthah anticipates to expand its footprint by walking among more global companies & agencies, supporting them in their digital and technology transformation solutions. This would propel the company, which is already growing at an exponential 40 percent rate annually, to go over 50 percent this FY. Having laid out a vision to build tech IPs to address specific pain points in the experiential space, the company has already taken the first step towards it through its spatial analytics tool. “Given that the future would be of Digital Transformation & Interactivity, there is a huge scope for quality-oriented companies like us. We are considering our strategies accordingly and the same would be in place depending on market scenarios,” concludes Shubham.
